About Us

5alas was born from a profound desire to give back to Allah and help our fellow Muslims who face hardships daily. We believe that a local mosque can be more than a place of worship; it can be a beacon of hope. Around 50% of the world’s poorest people live in the Islamic World, whilst every 1 in 5 Muslims lives in extreme poverty. That's why we created a tech platform that connects donors, suppliers, and mosques to alleviate hunger, poverty, and poor health, right in our local areas. We believe that by starting locally, we can create a ripple effect that reaches every corner of the globe, leaving no one behind.
